The DCIEM Diving Tables and Manuals were developed by the Canadian Forces Experimental Diving Unit at the Defence and Civil Institute of Environmental Medicine (DCIEM) in Toronto, Canada. DCIEM's name has changed to Defence R&D Canada - Toronto, but the diving tables and manuals will retain the DCIEM name.
DRDC Toronto http://www.toronto.drdc-rddc.gc.ca is world renowned for its diving expertise. The results of its research over several decades are consolidated into an algorithm that is used in the DCIEM Manuals and Sport Diving Tables. This information is licensed to Universal Dive Techtronics Inc. (UDT) for commercial reproduction. Bonica Precision is assigned as the worldwide distributor for these products. |
